On 10 July 1943, authorities in Bohemia and Moravia began issuing this stamp for use on packages sent to the Theresienstadt concentration camp.
The inmate would request to receive a package, and if approved, the sender would receive an admission notice containing the stamp and instructions.
Upon receipt of the package, the recipient could send an acknowledgment card letting the sender know it had arrived.
Imperforate copies are from the remainder.
Proofs exist in black and light green printings.
Ungummed, numbered sheets of four imperforate stamps in black, brown, and dark green were found in remainder stock. These sheets were for distribution to foreign Red Cross delegations for propaganda purposes.Theme: Theresienstadt
