There are two special postmarks of identical design, shown below. The left postmark, from Marburg, translates Commemoration
Festival at Philipps University. It was at Philipps University that Behring was a professor in 1895. The right postmark was used at Leverkusen, and reads, Commemaration Festival in Marburg. It was in Marburg that the diphtheria antitoxin was first produced for commercial use.
